Leisure and Recreation – the opportunities
The following list of existing leisure and recreation activities in the local
area was generated by brainstorming at a Banffshire Partnership Workshop in the
Princess Royal Building (Banff) on the evening of 22 February 2001.
The list is not as comprehensive as it might be (the participants were not
broadly representative of the population!) and there may be better ways of
laying it out. But it can serve as a useful jumping off point for elaboration in
other workshops.
Key questions that need answering include:
- What other groups and activities do or could exist?
- Where do they, or might they, take place?
- Who could organize that more and better facilities might be made
available?
